What Moves an Installation Price Up
Starting prices cover a standard replacement in a typical home. These are the items that most often add to a written quote, and each one is listed separately so you can see what you are paying for.
System size and type
A larger home or a variable-speed system costs more than a single-stage system for a small home. We size equipment with a load calculation, not by guessing from the old unit.
Ductwork condition
Ducts that are crushed, leaking or wrapped in old insulation may need sealing or replacement. We inspect them at every estimate.

Heat pumps and mini-splits can need a dedicated circuit or a panel upgrade. The quote states it before work begins.
Multiple zones
Each extra indoor unit on a mini-split, or each zone on a ducted system, adds equipment and labor.

Aarvaks furnace installation starts at $7,500. The final price depends on the furnace you choose, the condition of your ductwork and any gas or electrical work. You get a written quote before any work begins.
How much does a heat pump cost to install?
Aarvaks heat pump installation starts at $17,000 for a single-zone system. Larger homes, multi-zone systems and electrical panel upgrades raise the price, and the written quote lists each item.
How much is an HVAC diagnostic?
The residential diagnostic fee is $79. It is waived if Aarvaks does the repair.
Are these prices the same everywhere you work?
